From Geneva / Annecy (A40)
A40 motorway towards Lyon, exit Nantua then D1084 towards Bourg-en-Bresse. Poncin is on the route, before Pont-d'Ain.
From Chambéry / Grenoble
A43 then A42 towards Lyon, exit 8 Pont-d'Ain. Or A43 then D1504 via Belley for a more scenic route.
